Bio
Bruce Veneziani was born in Manchester, NH. While growing up, his family moved around a lot until landing in the Midwest about ’84. He grew up on the hair bands of the 80s and classics of the 70s. Listening to everything from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC-DC, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Jackson Browne, to Metallica, Megadeth, Queensryche, Motley Crue and everything in between.
Bruce, a self-taught guitarist, bought his first guitar at age 15 from a J.C. Penny catalog. After high school Veneziani started jamming with friends and getting some traction with his playing. He played in bands in the 90s and 2000s and started helping out friends’ bands working behind the scenes. This eventually lead to him becoming an audio engineer and working with hundreds of bands over about 16+ years. Bands from the local music scenes to touring road dogs and even a few national acts. Being a sound man was not his happy place. He missed playing music in front of people and local open mics weren’t filling the void.
Running an audio production business didn’t give Bruce time enough to jam or dedicate to a band. Veneziani hit the woodshed and started building a repertoire of music that he could sing and play with just an acoustic guitar. His song list kept growing and getting more and more diverse.
Today Bruce’s song list exceeds more than 300 songs, spanning 60+ years of music from classics of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s to modern day chart toppers. His multi genre set is guaranteed to have something for everyone, covering popular Rock, Country and even some Pop music. It’s not uncommon to hear songs by Waylon Jennings, Cyndi Lauper, Tyler Childers, Goo Goo Dolls and Iron Maiden all in the same night. With such an extensive song list to pick and choose from, it is never the same show twice. Bruce is at his best when the audience is interacting with the show. Although there are crowd favorites that get played at most shows, crowd interactions tend to dictate the set.
